Case Study 1

Manufacturing Cavity Block

PMax was entrusted with an intricate drawing for manufacturing cavity block containing several features like - extremely thin slots, submarine gate, pockets with minimum corner radius & precise angular profiles.

The team came with practical solution to manufacture the cavity block in ASSAB STAVAX material at 52-54HRC using a combination of wEDM, Sink EDM, High Speed CNC Milling and precise surface grinding.

Case Study 2

Tooling Inserts and Assembly

The client requirement of manufacturing several tooling inserts and assembling them along with blue matching of angular sliders, inserts stacking within a tolerance of 5 micron & angular finger cam matching was successfully completed on time and passed the tight drawing tolerance requirement of the customer in the first submission.

Case Study 3

CALMAX Material Mould Insert Blocks

Several CALMAX Material Mould insert blocks with multiple core pin holes of 0.5mm diameter at a 5 micron tolerance was completed successfully using precision WEDM operations.

Case Study 4

4 Axis Simultaneous Machining

PMaX was entrusted with the task of coming up with an innovative material conveying solution in food grade plastic.

The team achieved the spiral track on our HAAS 4th Axis CNC Mill with usage of simultaneous 4 Axis Movement and Micro Boring Head Mounted on the Spindle.

Case Study 5

Stainless Parts for Packging Machine

Cakees - Bäckerei Stiebling approached PMaX for development of an automatic packaging machine which was manufactured, assembled, tested and later installed by our team at site in Germany.

Most parts made in food grade stainless steel were machined on our CNC mills and large format surface grinder to achieve the high precision movements applied by the Pnuematic pistons.
